I created an AR immersive design that shares an experience for growing cat grasses.
The reason why I chose this topic that because I have a cat. Then, cat grasses are very important for cats because they need it to solve the hairball problem. Cats need to eat some cat grasses almost every week, so I need to go to the store to buy the fresh cat grasses almost every week.
However, because of the Coronavirus, I have to stay at home and cannot go out to buy the cat grasses. Therefore, growing some cat grasses at home by myself maybe is a good idea.
I created this fun design and shared this experience that wants to share some positive energy with others. I want to show that although we cannot go out because of the virus, we can also doing some funny things when we stay at home.
People can also use their cell phones to play this AR design if they want.

If you want to know some story behind it
The Process:
I want to create some 3D models for each step. Therefore, it can be an interesting point to attach audiences. Also, for the 3D model, viewers can turn and drag to see the model by any angel of view. It is helpful and can show the steps clearly.
After deciding the topic, I began to do some researches about the AR making and learned how to use Java code. Based on the AR action research and the learning of the Java samples on 8th Wall, I decided to create some funny things by using five AR actions. They are taping to play a video; holding to drag an object; pinching to scale an object; two fingers to spin an object; clicking to toss an object.
First, I drew some sketches to structure the whole story. Also, I add some user flow in it to describe how people can use this project.
Second, I used Adobe Illustrator to make some concepts and visual design of my story. For example, I created some illustration for a pot of cat grasses with a cute cat. Also, I made the tutorial step by step by using the illustration. All these images will be used in my AR Java part.
Third, I used Adobe Dimension and Cinema 4D to create some 3D objects for my story. Then, use Adobe Dimension to export glb. file that can be used in my Java coding part.
After prepared all resources that I need, I imported them in my Java project on the 8th Wall and began to type the coding to create my AR part.
